Originally called a Bloody Mary, it was renamed as the “Red Snapper,” a name thought to be much more appropriate for the hotel’s elegant clientele. The bar is also home to Maxfield Parrish’s beloved Old King Cole mural. The puckish mural was commissioned by Colonel Astor in 1906 and recently underwent and extensive, $100,000 restoration.
